# About Versuno

> Our goal is to build Institutional Memory for the age of AI agents. We're
building the context layer that every serious AI agent runs on: persistent,
 structured, and always up-to-date.

## Our mission

Right now, even the smartest AI agents are limited to the context they can
access. Most company knowledge lives scattered across documents, chats, old
wikis, and people's heads. Every new session, agents basically start from zero.

We want to create a single, governed context layer that every AI agent can read
from and write to. A shared brain that stays up-to-date, remembers what matters,
and evolves as the company does.

### How we think about it

- One Universal Layer: all context (domain knowledge, decisions, learnings,
etc.) should live in the same, portable system.
- Agent-Driven: agents should decide what to remember and when to write and
update the brain, not just auto-capture everything.
- Self-Maintaining: the system should automatically flag outdated information,
resolve contradictions, and ensure integrity. Human oversight should be
  available as an optional control.
- Secure by Default: end-to-end encryption with zero-trust architecture.

The model is no longer the moat. The real advantage is the quality of context
your agents can access. We're building the infrastructure layer that makes this
possible.
