1. Introduction
Welcome to Versuno.
Versuno is operated by Kostiantyn Sytnyk and Mateusz Kowalski ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide versuno.ai, including the API, CLI, and MCP server (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, safeguard, and disclose personal data when you use the Service.
When you use Versuno to store and manage your prompts, personas, contexts, and related assets, you are the data controller for that content and we act as a data processor on your behalf. This Privacy Policy covers how we handle your personal data as a user of the Service (such as account, billing, and usage-related data). Your use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service.
2. Definitions
SERVICE means the Versuno platform, including versuno.ai, the API, CLI, and MCP server.
PERSONAL DATA means any information that identifies or could identify an individual.
USAGE DATA means technical and diagnostic data collected automatically through use of the Service.
DATA CONTROLLER means the entity that determines why and how Personal Data is processed.
DATA PROCESSOR means the entity that processes Personal Data on behalf of a Data Controller.
YOU / USER means the individual accessing or using the Service.
3. Information We Collect
To keep this simple, we collect information in two categories: Personal Data and Usage Data.
Personal Data
Personal Data is information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. We collect Personal Data in connection with your account and use of the Service, including account and billing identifiers, service and security metadata, and content or files you create, upload, connect, or import through the Service (including from third-party integrations or external data sources you authorize). These examples are illustrative and not exhaustive.
We do not store your full payment card details. Content linked to your account belongs to you, we treat it as confidential, and we do not use it to train models or share it with third parties.
Usage Data
Usage Data is technical and diagnostic information collected automatically when you use the Service, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this data to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- to create, manage, and secure your account;
- to provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- to process payments, manage subscriptions, and handle billing-related obligations;
- to send you transactional and service-related communications, including receipts, password resets, security alerts, and account or subscription notices;
- to provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- to monitor usage, perform analysis, and improve platform functionality, reliability, and performance;
- to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
- to enforce our legal agreements and policies, protect our rights, and prevent misuse of the Service; and
- to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use your content to train AI models.
5. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We may retain and use Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
In practice, we retain Personal Data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where longer retention is required by law (for example, billing and accounting records, which are retained for up to 5 years under Polish accounting law).
We also retain Usage Data for internal analysis, security, and service reliability purposes. Usage logs are generally retained for 90 days, except where a longer period is required for security investigations, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
6. Data Transfer
The Service is operated from Poland by Kostiantyn Sytnyk and Mateusz Kowalski. We use infrastructure providers (listed in our Subprocessors page) that may process your data in the United States and other countries.
Where we transfer data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and ensure each subprocessor has appropriate safeguards in place.
7. Disclosure of Data
We do not sell your data. We share Personal Data only in the following circumstances:
- Subprocessors: With the vendors listed on our Subprocessors page, who process data on our behalf under strict contractual terms.
- Legal obligations: If required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, we may disclose data to comply.
- Safety: If we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Versuno, our users, or the public.
8. Security
The security of your data is important to us. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Row-level security on the database
- API key authentication with per-key rate limiting
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please contact us at hello@versuno.ai.
